Water related projects are the core business of IMDC. Consequently hydraulic design is required in many projects. Another important part of these water related projects is the geotechnical aspect, in particular for hydraulic designs.
To aid our clients manage their water resources, assist them in making informed decisions or show them the impact of events or actions. We build digital products that visualize, calculate and predict water processes and events.
Both in the form of our own Synapps platform, or with complete custom software applications, we digitally go where our clients need us.
Blue energy is abundant, geographically diverse and renewable. Based on our extensive know how of waves, currents and subsoil in the open sea IMDC assists state authorities, project developers and contractors in realisation of complex offshore wind, offshore substations, submarine cables and wave energy projects.
Coastal and estuarine zones are particularly sensitive to pressure from climate drivers, population and increasing exploitation of resources. Our challenge is to deeply understand the dynamics of and interactions between natural and anthropogenic processes, and to aspire to a sustainable coastal and estuarine management.
Water resources are not endless, but must nevertheless support huge and ever increasing social and economic needs. Structured water resources management is therefore of major importance to ensure them to sustainably comply with these needs.
