The Key Program Offshore Wind of ENGIE specifying the need for a high-level Weather Downtime (WDT) and Metocean Data Resources tool to support them in calculating hi-level CAPEX for offshore windfarms. IMDC will provide an online webservice tool that facilitates ENGIE to quickly calculate monthly and yearly discrete WDT and key Metocean numbers (waves, wind) for high-level offshore wind installation activities based on a wind or wave threshold. The worldwide ERA-5 hindcast database is sourced for this.
